If you have Friends .. you could Really Try out Guilty Gear XX: Reloadit's the fastest 2D fighting game with Really Cool Metalic Rock Background Music .. it also has a really good stroy mode .. This is a game not to miss !

Hahah Katamari Damacy is really good. It's fun to play with friends too. Once you get the hang of it anyway. Not too hard.I liked Xenosaga too, but some people don't like the long cutscenes. I don't know how good Xenosaga II is since I haven't played it yet.

Get final fantasy for sure, as many as you can really.Tenchu was coooool on PS havnt played the ps2 ones :\Devil may cry 3 is a must, to this day its still my favourite game :lol:Need for speed MW is pretty good, although Im on the number 2 blacklist and I've given up 
.Soul calibur is ok, I played it for like 3 days before getting bored though.

Well, spanning some of the PSX games (sorry if you don't care for these but it is better in some cases to have a full series of games!)RPG: The Final Fantasy Series (of course), and the Suikoden Series (starting with 1 and 2 for PSX and then moving to 3, 4 and tactics for PS2 (however I would note that 4 gets kind of boring in the early game and is hard to finish at any rate due to this) I suggest the Suikoden series if you like a lot of replay as each game (with the exception of Tactics) has 108 recruitable "Stars of Destiny" that are mostly different throughout each game which IS in the same world as each other (meaning some cross charecters).As for RPG/Strategy: Final fantasy Tactics(PSX) is amazing and Suikoden Tactics will remind you of it greatly, though the game is fairly short and easy, you should still be able to get a lot of replay out of it as there are something like 80+ units to play as (all unique). Also there are those like Alterier Iris and Makai Kingdom which are pretty good, but not as big name.

Wait a few more months, if you can some good ones are coming up. such as KH2,Shadow Hearts 3?, Phantasy Star Universe and FFXII. I suggest you get KH, and the Xenosaga series at least. And maybe socom III and Starwars: Battlefront 2
