They're 2 different games. Try it out on a rom or demo before you purchase.

When I played Animal Crossing: WW that I borrowed from my friend, I liked it the 1st week, but then it just suddenly became so boring. I guess Animal Crossing is not for me :)

I bought a DsLite because i was in a blind AC:WW frenzy >__< unfortunately i experienced a lot of difficulties with WLan and i never played it online -____-;;; that's shameful and bad but i'm waiting to fix the lan to play with friends *___*anyway,despite the fact that playing it offline could be boring at times,AC:WW is addictive and sooo kawaii!!My friends and my boy love ac so much that they "moved" in my city and started to rule over me,changing my home and selling away old furniture XDDD

I just started playing it about a week now and I must say it seems similar to sims. I like it though, just learned how to fish.

hiya, Been playing ACWW for about a month and the challenge I found is how to collect/catch/fish everything that should be collected/caught/fished. Have been thinking what is going to happen once all has been done?Move on maybe, then again... :D

it feels like one of those games that you play nonstop for months and months, and then suddenly stop and never pick it up for a year or so. it's a strange feeling...

ACWW is a good game. But it's old now. It's been out since few months ago.

for me it was fun and immersive for a while.. after a few weeks, the lack of depth grew on me. too repetitive! and with little reward, beyond the mindless collection and hoarding, i stopped playing.too bad, i think if pushed in the right direction, who knows what AC:WW would be like if it was a true MMORPG, with people, less repetitive, more skill-based jobs, larger towns, areas beyond town to explore.. wow.

I kinda quit when I encountered my first hacker. Leeched the fun right out of it.

Hi JP585,I agree with you that hackers take the fun out of the game. Though it's none of my business that they hacked, it just feel that since everything can be hacked, what is the fun of playing by the rules?Anyways, I am pretty amazed by hackers' ability to do so cos they can go till to extend that, even the inserts and fishes can be hacked! Amazed.... :D

animal crossing is worth it because their is always something to do no matter what time it is since it goes by real time. and you never beat it and have nothing to do. this coming from a perwson whos played both versions and owned them 2!

Hm, I'd go for Animal Crossing. Though I have bias for most raceing games, that and previous Mario cart games I got tired of pretty quick. I'm still playing my Animal Crossing, almost daily.

I play Animal Crossing but only when I'm really really bored. It's addictive but that doesn't automatically mean good. I like Mario Kart a lot better, because it's always been a great series. Animal Crossing is just like doing real life chores, so pointless.

Hm... well, I have Animal Crossing: Wild World, it's a great game and everything but after a while it kinda... loses its charm. I've never lost that with Mario Kart... except the new ones. MK64 was the BOMB

Animal Crossing if you only like playing a game for a few hours a day. Mario Kart if you like playing a game until completion and never touching it again (except maybe to race a friend...).

I got both of em. I think that with Mario Karts, you can constantly play it , but the game has a limit to what you can do. With annimal crossing, you can play the game for ever, but there isn't much to do other than the few things within the game. Personaly I like Mario Karts more because it's got more goals to achieve in a short period of time. I think that if animal crossing had more short term goals that could be achieved relitively easily, then it would make the game a lot more fun and entertaining. For the moment, I can only play AC for about 1 hour before I've picked all the fruit and got fed up with fishing, with MK I can play as long as I want because there are cources to unlock and characters, plus the new mission mode wich is fun and the multiplayer online world (even if you aren't a good driver, it still gives you good practice for the game)

I have recently put ACWW down for about a month. I've never done that before, I wonder what will happen the next time I turn the game on....I got tired of fishing and shaking trees...anything else to do in the game?

I couldn't really get into Wild World after playing Animal Crossing on the GC because it was really just more of the same.

what is this game about?

It's all about living in a small village: fishing, hunting bugs, planting trees, taking care of flowers, buying a bigger house and decorating it,visiting friends' villages via WFC..You need to play it to understand what it's about..
