im not even going to read all of the posts, but i do have one thing to say.The only REAL RPG on there is Baldur's Gate and mayb planescape. And Zelda Isn't an RPG. Its a platform game, well, the new ones are. What people dont seem to understand is that there are different types of RPG's. Baldurs gate is an rpg in the truest sense of the RPG Genre. mostly. Everquest is an MMORPG, Dragon wrrior, the FF series (FF died to me once they stopped with the Materia system), and breath of fire are your generic turn-based rpg's. Diablo 1&2 are 3rd person action/adventure RPG's. and dungeon siege is some wierd lovechild of D2 and the D20 system. AND ZELDA IS A PLATFORM GAME!

FF series are the best rpgs games that i know from that list, and i like very much the ff7 from squaresoft

Final Fantasy games are killer.. Suikoden and BOF are as well.. The Xenogears/Xeno series hold number one though

Breath of Fire, straight up, i didn't get into it until the third one for Playstation, but then i went back and bought BoF 1, and got the ROM for the second one, I like them all, except the 4th one wasn't as good as I thought it'd be. get into it.

while Final Fantasy and Diablo bring a lot to the table, I still think that Zelda is the best because its storylines and abilities.
