My personal favorite RPG would have to be Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth, or if you prefer just the original Valkyrie Profile. I would almost have said Xenogears, but I am more a fan of the sword and sorcery than the big robot action.I guess the biggest thing that draws me to these two games is I like a game that grabs you by the heartstrings and gives you huge highs and even bigger lows. I like a game that depresses the howl out of me and then makes me feel really good and hopeful when I finally make something good happen. I don't really know if that will happen with Valkyrie Profile. I haven't played all the way through it, but I'm playing out a role in Ragnorok, the end of the world according to Norse Mythology. I really doubt that I could do something that would really be a good ending with that. Still, I've known stranger things to happen. So, in short. My favorite RPG is Valkyrie Profile. As far as what the best RPG is, I really don't know. I don't really think it is Valkyrie Profile. Yes there is a difference between being a favorite and being the best. For instance, my favorite Pro Football team is the Lions, but they really are not the best team there is. In fact, they are one of the worst. So, yeah. I really don't have any idea what the best RPG ever made is. I just know what I like and let the rest of you weigh in on the best of the best battle.Fare thee well,Belkra

Any platformer/RPG, such as Zelda, Kingdom Hearts or Ys, though I would love to learn about more of that type of game. Platformers are great with me, but having RPG elements makes them extra-fun!

Boktai (full series, including Lunar Knights)Final FantasyLost OdysseyFlyFFCorumTao's Adventure: Curse of the Demon SealBoktai (GBA) has a solar sensor and gameplay is affected by the amount of light the solar sensor picks up. There are three games in the USA, Boktai, Boktai 2 (GBA) and Lunar Knights (DS) which is an indirect X-yers later sequal to Boktai 3 (GBA) which was japanese only.Final Fantasy VII (Playstation) and Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced (GBA)Lost Odyssey is an XBox 360 JRPG made by a company including two members of a team that used to work on Final Fantasy.FlyFF is a free WoW-esque MMORPG by Gpotato, you can go to their website for more info, just google it.Corum is another free MMORPG also made by Gpotato, this time it's Runescape-esque, no membership at all thoughTao (DS) is an excelent RPG with turn based battles almost like a tacticss ghame but with the addition of dungeon exploration.
