I've only lost my memory card once, though i got it back, since i left it at my mums house (which is out of state, so i had to wait awhile >>)

how can you lose a memory card. I would never lose my memory card because it has so many hours of play on it and losing that would be like losing years of my life.

The same thing happened with when I brought my memory card to a friends house..it had FF-X, Xenosaga, GTA:San Andreas and a whole bunch of other games that I wasted time on..

well I ever lost my memory card data before. Thats why now I back up all my memorycard data to my USB thumb drive <_<oh ya anyway does anybody know what is the maximum read write times can a memory card handle before it crash?

Yup. I was drunk at this anime convention in Chicago called ACen and I lost the damned thing was in the game room. Man, I was so messed up, I misplaced the damned thing and no one was able to find it for me. All of the hours that I put into games from my middle school and high school days were lost in one day.

i lost a PS1 memory card and nevere found it, it had a lot of FF games on it especially final fantasy 8 on it

I lost my memory card on the move out here to california in 2004, but re-bought it after i bought a new ps2 system had to leave my old ones back home with my lil brother so he can have something to do, anyways yea its hard to lose a memory card that have most of your save games on it, which then u have to start all over again with that game which took a while to beat which sux, right now I lost my memory card, [dunno where it is] & now I gotta restart on my Initial D - Special Stage [Home Edition] on my ps2, I was almost done, had 1more stage left to beat then i can vs. Bunta all that hard work, & yes I bought Initial D - Special Stage on ebay, since it probally wont come out on the ps2, since they already made on for the psp, I might get that one as well, but I might just get it from the net & get a big Duo Memory card for the psp,

nope, but i've been paranoid about losing one... which is probably why I havnt lost one yet. I always play several games at the same time, so losing a memory card would force me to start over on about 9 games. that would suck way mor than shelling out another $15

Oh my God! I let a friend borrow my PS2 once and he lost one of my 4 cards. *tear* It's a painful memory. Thankfully it only had my fighting game saves, all of my RPGs were safe. 
It actually had La Pucelle Tactics on it, which I almost beat...*shrug* Such is life I guess.

losing one memory card with FF9, FF8, Chrono Cross and other RPGs is a painful memory i should forget it :'( until today havent found it, still searching tough.

YES! it's so so so damn irritating and frustrating! especially when you are playing an RPG game halfway. GOT TO RESTART ALL THE WAY! boredom rules over my life... -.-now i'm very careful with my memory card.

No, but my mom purposefully accidentally corrupted my Star Ocean:The second story(ps1) game by loading it up in the ps2, the memory card I was using was for ps1 but it wasn't sony brand. I had just passed the Field of Love on the 2nd disk!

me bro lost my mem card T_Thad saves for:FFXFFX2Kingdom hearts.hack (infection-quarantine)though he bought me a new one playing these games again is going to be tough especially since i dun have them all anymore
