I waited 2 years for my xbox because I was going to wait until microsoft made reliable consoles which sadly seem still to fail although microsoft is getting a bit better at the console design business, too bad they really sacrificed a way to efficiently offset the heat generated besides 2 fans and heatsinks.

I got a job washing dishes at a terrible italian restaurant, it took me 2 months to save, but its worth it all the way, especially when you get free pizzas... the downside is, i quit and now im penniless I WANT MONEY!

me and my parents were driving around springfield illinois christmas shopping and i told my mom i wanted a 360 so we went around to every store and we couldnt find one but then the last store before we were going to come home had oneDoes anyone have an interesting story on how they got their xbox 360?

bought mine september last year. got my paycheck from my summer job and went running to buy one 360. i was going to buy an Elite one but as soon as i got to the store they were loading the new Halo Edition 360's... i just couldn't resist, bought one and a Forza 2 with controller. Since my friend went home before i was done on the store, i had to walk for like 30min with the heavy package. wasn't fun at all at the time lol... keep B) [ ]

My friend actually stayed all night to get one and everything went well. On his way back, he ran out of gas and had no cell phone. He had to walk all the way home with that large 360 box he had. He says it was still worth it.

well when the 360 came out i was in a long long line but they sold out so i went back every day for bout 3 weeks but i didnt get one. one day i came home and my bother was up stairs came down and made fun of me cause he just got one so that night i sneaked in his room and broke it but putting soda in it. after that i finally got one at a pawn shop and made fun of him

Like 3 months after it came out, Circuit City had a few. On the day they had them, my brother waited in front of the store for 2 hours. No one else showed up at the store until 30 minutes before the store opened. There were very few people, so my brother wasted his time.
