But only if it was a Shadow Pokemon.I beat the entire game and got all of my legendaries to Level 100, but I still can't beat the last two cups of the Orre Colliseum. The game was far too easy, and I only keep it for future battling with the Pokemon GBA versions.

While I have no arguements that Colloseum was better (I want that bike!!!), I still liked Gales of Darkness...

wish nintendo can have pokemon battle just like in the movie, in real life if you hit you dont suppose to wait for the other to hit it.

Glae of Darkness was the same as Colosseum, just more Shadow Pokemon and a less intense plot.

My boyfriend bought me this for my 17th birthday....is that sad? I liked this game better than Colosseum. I stopped messing with the cards after the first 150, and I was really glad to have more of the originals in this game.

My boyfriend bought me this for my 17th birthday....is that sad?

I'm currently 21, and I plan on continuing my collection of Pokemon games until I can no longer stand up without two people on either side of me holding me up! So, I don't find it sad at all...Saying that, I have XD as well. There's not really a lot this game has that the original for the Gamecube didn't have. This game is a decent sequel to Colosseum in that it continues the Shadow Pokemon situation. But the story-line is pretty much the same as ever: You start off unaware, things build up, ultimate bad-guy turns out to be someone you didn't expect! There are a few side-things to do during the game. Including obtaining the nearly impossible to obtain Lucky Egg! A daunting task to get it, but considering its effects, it's worth doing! However, even though the 'Party' battles you can have with friends is in XD, the focus this time is more on the RPG. So.... You don't need a GBA and a party of Pokemon to play it. That's really all there is to say! You'll play through the first time around to grasp the story, even though it's a little like playing the hand-held games, except it's on the Gamecube... and that's it. Big screens!

I played it, but it got really boring really fast. The MT. Battle thing was kind of cool. but i didnt understand the catching wild pokemon thing, and i didnt like that you had to convert the dark pokemon before you could train them to higher levels.

I own it and i think that it has some great points like the music and graphics, but if you are use to just building a team and blasting through the game or don't like two on two battles this will not be very much fun.

I could go on for pretty long about why I think this game is sub-par with the other Pokemon rpgs but I'll just say the big lines.First, I don't like how almost every single battles in the game are 2vs2, if there is even 1 one-on-one battle I forgot about it, but yeah...Also, there isn't the same freedom feeling as in the previous games, you can't really build your team how you want without going through the hassle of having to trade, the catching system is really limited. I didn't like it, was expecting something wayyy better.

I have to admit - the storyline was slightly cheesy, but the gameplay was ok. We did the 1v1 thing. I beat my friend 9-1 because only knew how use the most powerful move on the list. Mirror-coated the crap outta him. :P

I still own Pokemon Colisseum and XD and I still haven't beaten either of them. I'm close on XD though, because I found Colisseum to be harder than XD was.

it really, really, really sucked. The only reason I played it was to get dragonite and other rare pokemon for my emerald, which is at least a halfway decent game! What's this crap about shadow pokemon? Why are there almost no wild pokemon? and it's short, easy, and more like a real, bad RPG instead of a FAKE, good RPG like most pokemon games.
