Final Fantasy 7....finished the game completely (got all items, max stats etc...), took me a long time, innumerable hours.

FFX for me my game time was about 150+hours, thunder dodging probably took about a good 10 hours for me but i still didnt get it so i used my mates action replay cd and got the item that way. sad thing is my nephew somehow got rid of everything on my memory card, so that for me was more painful than a kick to the nads.....well not really but just as bad.

Final Fantasy VII as well. I haven't finished it yet, but I can always dream. Wouldn't even hazard a guess how long it has taken me so far in the never ending pursuit of collecting everything, unlocking all the secrets, maxing stats and so on. But you know, when you sit down and think about it, 150 hours is equivalent to playing it solid for a fortnight (assuming you're not at school/work). That's a pretty impressive time commitment.

Probably Morrowind, but it doesn't count hours. The longest recorded amount is 113 hours on FFX.

Knights of the Old Republic. 1 or 2, I'm unsure. There's so many nice sidequests to do that it takes up a deal of your time.

Legend of Mana... the game's basically made up of tons of side quests... it's old, but it laid the foundation for games like Fable and free choice RPG's

for console games probably about 80-100 hours on almost any given final fantasy. but online, i would say several weeks worth because it is better than actually doing homework
