Freedom Force and it's sequel. I've beaten the main campaign three or four times on both games, and yet I'm still addicted, with all of the playable characters you can use and the custom character/rumble room extra goodies. Not to mention all the mods people have made for the games..

id have to say Breath of Fire for me, didnt get into many other rpgs and finish them , tried FF but never did get to far in any of theirs

Final Fantasy VIII and The Legends of Dragoon were both really long but amazingly good RPG's for the PS.

humm.. i don't know the exact time but i know the longest rpg i ever played was final fantasy vii (probably because i was younger and didn't know how to play well

In a single game, it has to be Final Fantasy XI, but if you used series of games, then its got to be Pokemon series, spent loads of hours on them games lol.

Baldur's Gate II: Shadow of AMN and Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal are the longest game I ever played, I completed 3 times already.
