i think Alundra 1...not because the length of the adventure, but the time to rid the puzzle....man...this game make me use my brain most if i compared to ff series

Longest RPG i played was Dragon Quest VIII.Very good game, but extremely long. I think it literally has over 100 hours of gameplay.

Ummm...Maybe Lufia II and his 100 floors tower, but I remember that when I played Chakan(Mega Drive/Genesis) I delayed more to end the game, counting all the 453665345 playdeaths.

chrono trigger? cmon... 14 endings people... is it 14 again? hmm... and also, bunch of magic combos and stuff... way back when i lost my psone, this is the only rpg that filled my life. then there's diablo 2... etc...

I would have to say Final Fantasy X. I clocked in a total of 115 hours.

Even though it's non computer, the longest I've ever worked on an RPG was the old Pokemon Silver, roughly 212 hours. On the PC though, it'd have to be one of the Final Fantasy games (all roughly took me about 70-90 hours)

I clocked in over 300 hours on my old Pokemon Red. I've had who knows how many months spent actually playing World of Warcraft (not calendar months, but months of time spent in game).As for tried and true RPG PC games... sadly, I finish the games within a day.

the longest RPG's I ever played were definetly ff7 ,and ff8 , Morrowind (and Tribunal,Bloodmoon), oblivion I'm stil playing but the number of hours is growing with each passing day.
