Read through a few of the posts on this thread and it has peaked my interest in the show. Sounds like something I'd like. We need more satire in our lives. Too bad it'll prolly never air here, but I guess I'll find a way to track it down.

revoltionary lol thats what thats whats the boondock is.They only say it's too black cause it has to do with life in the ghetto.but it has lessons to go along with each ep.That's what i like about it cause can be serouis and funny at the same time.But it is edgy lol.The season 1 conclusion aired this past Sunday and a second season is in the works. However, what I want to know is people's opinion about this series. Some folks say that its "Too black", some folks don't like the extreme political and social satire. However, I want to know what you think of this show.

lol riley is awosome in that show.. but what i dont understand is how come when they had that gunfight episode and the stepping on a black mans shoe episode ,when they have gunfites no one got hurt and they were shooting directly at each other

Not only funny, but raises some damn good points - the underlying theme of "even if you disagree with someone, learn to get along with them, if only barely" is something that many folks don't see.I mean, The Freemans themselves disagree on a lot of stuff, and we all know none of them agree with Uncle Ruckus on much of anything.Basically, to me, the show is humor, politics, and "we need to learn to live together as brothers, or die apart as fools" - three things I happen to love.

The Boondocks is amazing. I'm still surprised it's on Adult Swim at all, since they seem to be more of the mouthbreathing "Tim and Eric" fan crowd.

I love the Boodocks. I own the first season. Due to the lack of satelite/cable i'v missed most of the 2nd season gonna buy it when it comes out on dvd though.

Well the joke IS that the black lawyer IS in fact racist against black people which is exposed in another episode. But yeah I feel the show is funny, but also offensive in many ways other than racially such as the episode with the Katrina survivors, but when Unk Ruckus said " I'ma get a dog, name it levees and everytime it rains I'ma kick it" I literally peed myself laughing.I've seen the Boondocks, but I have no clue how I feel about it. On one hand, I find it extremely insulting cause it treats all people of a particular race like they are complete and utter morons. On the other hand, it's mildly entertaining at times and I find myself liking the main character.. But then you have the constant use of the N word.. and that odd R Kelly eppie where the White Lawyer claims the Black Lawyer is racist against black people.. I just can't decide how I feel about this.

I don't really like how offensive it can be, but Riely (sorry if that's spelled wrong) and Hewy (that most likely is too) are funny.I've seen the Boondocks, but I have no clue how I feel about it. The Boondocks is a helarious show because it pokes at the everyday things that happen in todays world that nobody notices. Racism, politics, and Butt-Kickin!
