To me, the only time games get hard is when i vs other people in it cause they change change their strategies. Also strategy games seem to get hard as the AI is improved to make more decisions

Without analyzing the shiznit: yes, games are getting easier. In fact, games've stopped "getting" and just "are". Shame really.(State something more obvious and I'll give you a pat on the back and a yummy caramel to... SUCK... on.)

Some games that I play are getting easier. Probably cause you have more knowledge and know more ways to do things.

Alot of games are getting easier, and shorter. Mainly I think because the ps2 is near it's limit of how much it can handle, and that the wait time has been cut down making it shorter. FPS have gotten easier, but they have also been tweaked to give a better feel, if you compare socom II and III's crosshair balance, time and the general stupidity of AI. Socom II the 2 and 3rd level AI's were smart, III the 4th level AI can barely spot me.

Yea i think more games are getting easier like the mario games they ran out of ideas for him and now resulting to sport mario games which is easy to play, but in my opinion the older you get the easier the game gets since as you age you play more games and become a good gamer so it seems like everything got easier

I also agree with this. I actually believe games are getting both shorter and easier. Older games were usually more challenging. New games often rely on secret stuff with "challenging" ways to be unlocked. Sadly the "challenging" way often ends up just being monotonous.(Example: Play through Story mode 12 times and you unlock a certain character, play Story mode 54 times and you unlock someone else)

Most games are, but I still think that there are plenty of difficult games (ex. Golden Sun II, one secret boss, Dullahann, is arguably the most difficult RPG boss ever)

Yeah i think they are too, i mean i bought full-metal alchemist last week, and i beat it the very next day, but then the sequel to that, fullmetal alchemist 2 is much harder then the first one. As for the older games yeah they're way harder i mean,pac-mans harder then most of these gamesKorey

A fw games are geting easyer such as fighting games use to be extremly hard example street fight2 mortal kombat 2 and mortal kombat 3 where all hard enough fighting games to make you wanna break your controller even older games like pacman and galaga are really hard compared to the 3D games out there so yes. it seems there making games harder so people don't get as frustraited playing them about the only games that are still hard are RPG's

most games are easy but if you crank the difficulty up it gets pretty hard but most of the old school games take me a good week or so to complete new games take me less than a week to complete i want something challenging :)

hell yea, remember the old games on nes? damn those were hard and there werent any SAVE points. Remember Contra: Alien Wars? damn that game was hard, but it was damn fun too. Mortal Kombat 2? once you got to kintaro man it was over. Now days yo got games where you can save anywhere and if you do something wrong, you just reload it. But yea there are still some hard games out there like ninja gaiden black.

I agree, now almost the difficulty of games are somore easily than before but the graphic are more better than before. I think the game developer maybe focus on the design only.

The age of the great games (I fear) is over developers have sacrificed gaming experience for flashy "real life" graphics and "real life" affects if I wanted real life in a game al go outside and do something but I dont I want a made up world with magic, flying, unreal weapons and that little thing that made games great. Yes there are some games that will suprize us from time to time but it used to be like that all the time every game was good every game was challanging but now...They say gaming is evolving I for one dont I think the oppisite, you might think the oppisite of me but thats fair it your opinion this is what I think.

If anything, I think games are getting harder. For instance, the earlier Zelda games were relatively easy, while Majora's Mask and Wind Waker had so many frustrating moments I ultimately never completed them. Alternatively, complexities and bugs that modern games have often frustrate the gamer, and these can make things more challenging as well.

yes they seriously are getting easierthe older games tends to be more mind consuming becos they dun have good graphics to fool the players in the past while new games just uses 3D graphics and animation to attract buyers

Nah not really, I think games today give you the chance to solve one problem in diferent ways just like in life there's more than one answer to a problem. Back than technology was limited and so to give the player a sense of a challenge they'd make things move ridiculously fast or overwhelm the player w/a screen full of bad guys. One of the most difficult games made was battletoads and the only reason why it was difficult was because of bad programming. I bet that makes a game real fun.

I think they're getting harder but at the same time people are getting better.Ex: I used to suck at every Megaman game and then I beat Zero 3 in like 1hr 30min.Ex: I destroyed one of my friends in NFL Blitz:The League for hours (47-4 Jets vs. Patriots).
