I was really bummed when I saw the price for FFXI, especially the whole monthly pay thing. I don't usually play online games, though, let alone online console games. My experience in that genre pretty much ends at games by Blizzard.I really hope FFXII is made for offline play. The battle system seems unique and interesting (having played the demo that came along with Dragon Quest VIII). Looks like the setting's pretty similar to FFX, but I guess time will tell.

I don't know but it devestated me when they got an online one because it was random and I don't think it should have happen but on FF XII I do not think they are going to make it online because the online didn't have like the cut seen movies like the series and I saw some for the preview of FF XII.

Honestly my favourite was 9, I'm one of the few who'll actually say it but it's either IX or X. I loved them both but IX was just cool.

Final Fantasy VII is the big mother of all 3d Final Fantasy games and has the best story ever, heh I mean they made a sequel movie for it for crying out loud :)Final Fantasy VIII is pretty close to VII that would be a second prefrence, heh they should make a movie for that

Damn, so many new final fantasies, including FFXII which is so sick. But I still think FFVIII is the greatest, it has Squall in it. He makes any game fun with his Sexy Lionheart sword. FFVIII is just too great, it has a long story, tons of sidequests and some mega hard bosses 
. Irvine's limit break is pretty sick too with fast ammo and some nice 220+ str.

ffx is somewhat similar to ffviii....its a tough choice to choose which is better...but i will go with ffx as i tink that the ending in ffx is better IMO....cuz ffx is more emotional when tidus jumpps off the ship....ffviii has a more abstract ending...also good though

I really liked FF IX, maybe because it's the first one I got. I got 7 and 8, but I got problems with the CDs and I never reached the end. Since then, I've been looking for them and never found one anymore...
