i read in a magazine it was rumored to be out in japan next year and that it wouldnt have umds anymore but cards like the dsso sorry the paged kept freezing so plz dont warn me it wouldnt load sorry

they already said that they would not make another psp or lower the price i thought that they was going poor or something because ds is a lower price that tha and thats probably why theyre not on top now

i rly doubt there gonna make one anytime soon. thers sop much potential with the psp theres no real need to. they constantly update its system and it can do new stuff all the time.

I doubt they make another one for a few years but I'm sure they'll find a way to mod the hell out of it between times.

My friend said that when he registered for the ps3 he got a magazine that talked about the the next gen gaming consoles. Also mp3 and mp4 (mp4 is kind of like the mp3 but has more memory and can have either a radio or a video card inside its just like the ipod video witch is an mp4). In that magazine he said it talked about the psp2 and that it had somewhat of better graphics also bigger screen so when you put a ps1 or GBA on it you can see as much wide open space as you wont. Now of course I don’t wont it because I am with the Japanese on this one, why? Well because when sony came out with this they didn’t think about the graphics and the games they only thought about the god damn money. So the only thing that its good for is music and door stops, its as simple as that.

It's too soon for the PSP2 if you think about it, and the fact that tthe PSP and PS3 can be upgraded means they might last for 12 years.

Well I don't know about the psp 2 but i wouldn't mind seeing a new slimmer version and maybe a little extra battery without having to clunk around an accessory. But if they do make a psp 2 I would have to ask for a second joystick.

I hear that the camera that was able to be used for the flash memory and the video chat of not the rumored 8GB but 4GB was built into new PSP(PSP2) according to information of having obtained it from the source who refused to be identified. It is quite uncertain how much to be able to trust this "Source who refused to be identified" even though the appearance of new PSP is forecast. Moreover, it is assumed that it becomes small from present PSP more faintly (About 1/4 inches), and three colors of white, the black, and silver appear. The position of the camera to do the streaming to PS3 by way of WiFi why is a place in the right under and the present machine of the screen with PSP logoes. There is probably not an element to be surprised especially as a rumor either. Installing the camera is a place in which PSP that could not help doing the mike to external is thought enough.

ive never heard of psp 2 but i think that its just stupid to release it in the next year or two. psp JUST came out this year

I've heard from interviews that sony is planning to release a new psp. What I heard was that more info would be announced in march. So far there are two rumor floating around about what the new system is gonna be. On one side I've heard that it would be a reinvisioned PSP sorta like what nintendo did with the DS lite. The flip out UMD loader would be removed, and replaced with a top loading slot. The general shape would be altered to make it more ergonomical, the wifi on-off switch would be removed, and a second analog nub would be added. Thats theory one, but theory two is probably what more people would hope for. The second rumor is that sony is gonna launch a cheaper striped down PSP, following the recent trend of having two variations of a system. Rumor is that this cheap PSP wouldn't have the multimedia versitility of the current PSP, but hopes that a lowered price point would attract more buyers. Sony has also purchased a large number of 8gig memory cards, which rumor has it will be a permanent new hardware feature either way they go.

Why would Sony want to make a new PSP if it hasnt even been 3 years since PSP came out...... Sony is starting to lose my respect enough as it is.

Due to the SEVERE lack of games I want to play, and the failed attempt to be a media player, I'm dissapointed with the PSP as is. I don't really need another handheld to get dissapointed over. If anything, Sony should focus more on what gamers want with the current PSP than try to manufacture another one.
