I never got to play GT, but I did get to play Test Drive 6 and that was a really good game, especially the capture the bomber mode.

When I was younger (when I had my PS1) I was more of a fan of those faster-paced racing games like NFS3 Hot Pursuit, so that'd be my choice.

Gran Turismo is my favorite because it was one of the first ps1 games i had and it was the only racing game I had and it's a really fun game.

I think I like Need For Speed: High Stakes. I found it easier to control than Gran Turismo.Oh, and I loved Xtreme, too! But I don't have it now.

Crash Team Racing. It was a Mario Kart clone, yes, but it was a very good one. I remember actually liking it more then the entire Mario Kart series (except for Double Dash).
