im trying to decide whether to buy Age of Empires or Age of Mythology. can anyone help me decide?

both since you could probably get age of empires online for 10 bucks.

well AOM is just way funner and is great to control mythical units too. God powers are nice addition to the games.

i dont like AOE as much as AOM. since as the people already said the graphics sucks for AOE and so on

however it (and its expansion) are solid games with good development, excellent historical based plots, and a great diversity of playable units. the graphics arent fantastic but they arent that bad and they really dont take much away from an otherwise great game.

buh. Dat.AOE is a classic. More strategy.AOM i sooo much cooler with the god powers though. More fun.however it (and its expansion) are solid games with good development, excellent historical based plots, and a great diversity of playable units. the graphics arent fantastic but they arent that bad and they really dont take much away from an otherwise great game.

AOE games are very fun when playing Multiplayer with 3 or more players. AOE 2 is old game already so you'll probably get it for cheap. I hope they'll make AOE 3 someday.

AOM has rock/paper/scissors type units. There are 3 different types, each stronger against the other.I hate that idea, and know that AOE is a very good game.AOE is better.

LOL Age of empires can STOMP Age of mythology. Trust me I played both, and i play AGE of empires often in lan, its A LOT more fun, + You can play on zone for all sorts of cutom maps.

I have played Age Of Empires and Age Of Magic. I would recomend you Age Of Empires, because it is historical true. It is not imagined, like AOM.

AOM is newer than AOE but AOE is fun if u like games that are based on true history...even though i'm not sure if the units are true...

AoM is fun and all and let the creative side of things roam a bit freely with the magic and myth etc., but after a while it gets a bit dull.In then end AOE is still the funner game, I can squeeze more fun outta it then AOM.
