I recommend AOE3. It has better graphics than AOM. Better online play and a truly enjoyable experience. Not to mention its great soundtrack.

Well, I have played AoE, AoE exp., AoE 2, AoE exp., AoM and AoM exp. Not played AoE 3, yet. I would say, that I personally like AoM more at this moment. Played these games so many years.. :3Still wondering, what kind of game AoE 3 is. I should find that from somewhere and try it out.

AoE III is very similar to AoM, except it has more civilizations and more things to do

AoM requires for skill because of two advantage triangles and microing is much more difficult.However because of the decreasing number of people on AoM/AoT,its hard to say. I think that AoM/AoT is cooler than AoE in many aspects but thegame is becoming too old.

In AOM you can turn the game by using god powers, and the civ bonuses are quite awesom too. But AOE3 is better (gogo Uhlans!!!) LOL

who doesn't love sending the army of the dead at your apponent as mollten fire balls rain from the sky and tree's attack villagers. in basic choose AOM

I play with AOK2 and AoM. If you play for the first time RTS game, choose AoK2, it's fun.im trying to decide whether to buy Age of Empires or Age of Mythology. can anyone help me decide?
You're riht, but if you play on internet, Aok is funny, Aom is not....Age of Mythology is much better, since its more modern.

i think it depends on which you like more. if you prefer attacking with a giant gold titan that eats your enemies gold reserves to make itself invincible then get AOM. if you prefer building a giant castle right smack in enemy territory go for AOE.

I like AOE and so does one of my brothers, but my other brother likes AOM better...I like how much faster AOE goes than AOM...AOM might have better quality but I would pick AOE over AOM any day of the year
