Why is anime way better than American cartoons?

Hello,Well personally I prefer anime than american cartoons as many of the american cartoons are too "childish" (no offence ya). Furthermore, I like the way Japanese draw their anime characters, especially they pay more attention in drawing the eyes. American cartoon heroes always has huge upper chest and square or rectangular elongated face (e.g. Batman, Superman...) but none of the anime heroes are like that. And last but not least, I like the storyline of anime. Just my personally preference.

i think anime is in general, drawn better.. i don't know if that takes more time to draw, but honestly if you compared something like the gundam series to something like sponge-bob square pants, i think there's a distinct difference in drawing skills there >.> i could be wrong of course..

arent anime kinda the same as cartoons? anyone i think anime might be better because the more eps and ecit mit and stuff.

Story line, plot, death that STAYS and doesn't have the restart button for each new episode.:/Hince why I love Avatar so much. cause there is an ending, sad but you look forward to it. ^^

i find most american cartoons almost always seem to reset no matter what happened in the previous, where in anime, it seems that everything stays hella more consistant

... I was thinking of the drawing style... but I've noticed that the west are starting to adopt the Japanese anime art style because it's more appealing.manga and anime is a big business in Japan... so may be that's why its so good. They can afford to develop.

I don't really know, but I think it's drawn better in another way ( like the drawing styles? )?but of course that's only MY opinion^_^

Because you see, animes can show a lot of things better than cartoons. They can show their emotions with their big eyes, isn't it? And they're sexy as well.

The pictures are better, smoother and richer in details. The stories also more exciting, have more feelings in it and touching too.. hmm that's what I thought

it have a better plotstory because Japanese are creative. using reference from other country legend and so forth. Americian cartoon the same as alway. so boring.

Japs just have something in theiur brain that makes their vcartoons a lot better. only american cartoon i realy like better than anime wud be family guy and boondocks.

Anime animation is just superior in every way :PNever been much of a fan of cartoons mainly cause they don't have any correlation with each other. Anime episodes are usually connected...

Unless it's extremely high budget, anime has very little animation. Notice how the characters never move when they talk? Notice how every scene just shows a character in one pose or another? Anime artists are no more capable than cartoon artists.2. There are (or were) plenty of violent American cartoons created. And "mature" implies that it's only fully comprehended by a mature person. Anime is wayyy better than cartoons because....Anime has awesome stories in them, they show blood in them, and they have awesome character voices....Cartoons are not really funny, they are not interesting to me, and they basically have no story to them.

anime look better graphically, (the characters are also waaay hotter and cutter and *rambles on for a bit*) and anime usually have much deeper storylines. and their much cooler too.

easy.american artists cant draw better than japanese. all american cartoon are similar.it doesn't have it own unique style. for example,harada's illustration(the one who drew disgaea).

because japan produce the cartoons with feelings..LOL just kiding.. so far from my research.. american cartoons only base on their original human size.. unlike japanese cartoons even produce the chibi type person and trying to make the story line even in more interesting and enjoying..
