MK64 had so many unforgettable tracks... yeah, DS has some of 'em, and some SMK tracks as well, but I miss the rest of the tracks... and my MK64 cartridge is broken, and won't play music, and randomly freezes up, so I need to rebuy it.But, anyways, MK64 beats out MKDS any day.

Mario Kart DS, Online play, which can allow for more players, portable to play on the go.. Which is really nice at work when it gets dead. Plus I sold my 64 a while back.

I think I like the DS version more just because you can go online... But if the N64 had online capabilities, it'd definitely own the DS.

Mario Kart DS any day. It feels much smoother in my opinion, and plus, that map on the bottom screen add so much to the gameplay.

I'd had to say that Mario Kart 64 was much more fun for me than Mario Kart DS. I mean, Mario Kart DS did have some great features, but the classics just hold more value for me. But... I must say the Wi-Fi is loads of fun! :P I'm really glad Nintendo put Mario Kart DS online.

I personally think both are great, but if I had to choose, I would go for the old classic one.

Well, the classic N64 version will always be classic, and fun to play. But with the DS versions Wifi features make it enjoyable as well. It's hard to choose between the two, as they probably have an equal amount of positive qualities, but at the moment, i'd have to go with the DS version, only because I don't have my N64 version anymore.

Personally, I'd have to say Mario Kart 64. I've always prefered games on home consoles, rather than on handhelds. I just find it easier to play multiplayer games on a home console... Somehow you can get more into the game. However; I do like that MKDS has more levels, it's just a pity that it's on the DS rather than the Wii. I suppose we'll get a Mario Kart game on the Wii soon though, and I hope it has 32 levels like MKDS.
