DS... I'll never forget when I got it and my friends and I played battle mode in different rooms of the house. It was funny because every now and then you would hear alot of yelling.

I would have to say that Mario kart DS is better just because of the fact that it can be played online other than that it would be a tie.

for me these are two different games....i'm happy thhat i own all the mario kart games originallythey are so great funmk64 has a strange movement, but i can live with that XDi prefer the ds version

The DS one is way better, as it has like advantage of better graphics as it came out more recently.

If you would compare N64 to GC or NDS to GC, Mario Kart Double Dash is the best. But comparing N64 to NDS i think NDS have more possibilities than the N64 one.

i think for playing, since the controller of n64 is better, AND, on the ds i think they were desperate for more characters so they added robot and the skelliton turtle. i hate it when companies do that. but i think nintendo ds is pretty good to. if the graphics on n64 was a bit better than it is, i'd say it's much better. it's a classic

DS graphics are a lot better, but.... 64's tracks were miles far better than DS. (how could they not put "Yoshi valley"?, it was one of the most original tracks ever created!)

i like the 64 tracks betterthe DS has some good tracks but it would be the best if they had more of the 64 tracks. Yoshi valley would have been fun

I think that Mariokart DS is better. Easier control, portability and up to 8 players for multiplayer. Thats gotta count for something

I played both of them and i prefered super mario kart

aww man, how can you say that? the n64 controller was atroshish. it was bad design on both comfort and practicality and production quality.*gimp sticks*.Ds really wipes the floor with it.And 64 had 2d sprites instead of actual 3d. you can snake in the ds. I dono, there's just so much more to the DS kart than the 64.i think for playing, since the controller of n64 is better,

I'm going to have to go with the N64 version here. This is without a doubt a classic for the N64. It was too much fun playing the game for hours and hours and never get bored of it. I think they have just the right amount of characters in the N64 version. All of the mainstay characters is all you really need. Anything else is excessive.

Id have to say mario kart DS but mario kart 64 was still great.Mario Kart DS or N64 Mario Kart, which one is better?
