See What alot of people see in Runescape is... "Ugly Animations" "It's Repettive" "Its a point and Click" And Yes i Agree, The Animations Arnt As...Flashy as most,But RS just got a New Full 3D HD upgrade,And To me, Maplestory was just a Chibi-Side Scrolling-throw a rock @ Snail Adventure...It was too "Cutesy"...runescape had playabillity to it...Shure its abit Repettive at the start,But then again...Are you trying alot of stuff out? or are you just killing monsters waiting for the Quests to just pop up in your Invintory like Sho online? In Maplestory Its allso just 2D...Shure im not one to Judge Graphix much..But a 2D side Scrolling Cutesy game? Comon..Thats way worse than Runescape...And yes...you Do have to Adjust your Screen in Maplestory...But in Runescape thay added in a Fullscreen Option..and even the Free players can use the Full 3D. Its just What kind of gamer you are...Are you a simple Slashem up gamer?...Or a Work at what you do Gamer? Allso..Graphix Dosent matter As far as a game goes...it's how long it keeps Pulling you back to the Computer...And Siting you down for another 12 hour Gameing Session even though You have work Tomarrow

I have only played runescape and i kind of liked it but then jagex killed wilderness and it aint worth of playing anymore

MapleStory, they have private servers as well as RuneScape, but I think that MapleStory private servers are better then RS PS.

Gosh, what is it with these 'Obviously Popular MMORPGS' vs. RuneScape topics.I explained it earlier in the WoW vs. RuneScape topic. And I will here.Obviously, the highly anticipated MMORPG(In this case, MapleStory) is much more liked by players.You'd be talking to thousands of 6 year olds in RuneScape, thinking they're a teenager, they look pretty, and they want to be your girlfriend.MapleStory could also be like that, but the 'harder' and more 'advanced' registering for an account already killed off most of the 6 year old's determination to play MapleStory until they actually know how to register.Then comes the website section, where the 6 year olds try to find MapleStory, suddenly clicks on Forums and never finds the 'Download section again'.If most of the immature little brats aren't gone and still surviving, they can't stand the downloading. They click the 'Download' button, but suddenly mess around with the Download window, causing it to close.Here comes installing, starting, and such.That explanation probably already taken away over 90% of the under-8 years old population that wants to play MapleStory.But RuneScape, on the other hand, does not require all this hassle. It's register account, make character, and play. See how easy that is?Exactly why communicating on RuneScape is so much more immature and inconventient compared to MapleStory.I actually formed a relationship on RuneScape, when I was 6, and barely knew words. That's how dim-witted the population of RuneScape is.

I played RS a long time ago and I remember that it was bored :(But MS, that's another story, I played everyday until I reached level 29 and I was soo impatiant to be level 30 (new job) that I've been bored...*** But the best one is Maple Story, the gameplay is unique, we mode like in 2D but the graphic is in 3D ***

I like runescape myself, especially since it didn't take me very long to get used to it. Its hard to catch on to at first for some people though.

Runescape is not that fun. Played it for about 3 minutes and I got bored of it.Maplestory looks better.

what? no wilderness? no pvp now?sweet. maybe i should go back.no just kididng. maplestory isn't bad but i don't feel any addictive power emanating from it. that's good. I just don't feel like playing some days.I have only played runescape and i kind of liked it but then jagex killed wilderness and it aint worth of playing anymore

Ms is so much better, more action instead of standing one a stop stabbing a monster in runescapemaplestory, because the skills are more fun then picking a command 1by1 clicking here and there in runescape.

omg u are all stupid!!!!!people who like runescape are cool cus the 3d graphix of high detail of it is awesomemaple story is a holy bunch of s*** it cant even get 3d!!! its really gay!i have played both and RS Wins by the length of russia! B)and also runescape updated there graphix has anyone played it after that happened?

i think runescpae is a better online game because it has alot of features and besides it won the prize for the best free online game this year.....
