MS is way better then RS although i played Runescape for 2 years...(I have a level 84 )But now i play betheir of them...they both are boring now.

Maplestory...It has a nice new way of gaming and in my eyes runescape tries high 3d rendering in a javaaplet, and that's something that doesn't work.But still they try, it made the characters etc. look so ugly.
For you "I-hate-RuneScape-and-am-not-able-to-list-any-reason-for-that" people, these two are right.But yeah, I prefer RuneScape, even though I don't pay, I have a lot of stuff to do there, and I don't get bored.Maple Story FTW.Maple Story: 2D sidescroller with cute animations and characters.Runescape: 2.5D point and clicker with ugly animations but with great RPG elements

This is lame. RS is the owrst kind of MMORPG i had seen! It is purely time wasting. Maple i skind of cool. 2D yet so attractive. The leveling is relatively hard compared to R.O.S.E and FlyFF, I will stick to MS better. But one game thats is truely nice is Cabal online. But it is only release in europe....

I like Maple Story only because it is fairly easy to get into. The only problem is all you can do is kill creatures over and over again. The game is utterly a time-waster, but one that is better than Runescape.

Damn RS was so boring. I got bored after like five minutes it is not a fun game. I hate the graphics and sound. Maple story is much better, I actually got addicted to it unlike in RS.

MapleStory all the way, Runescape is for first timers, plus MapleStory is the only sidescrolling MMORPG there is.

I prefer Maple Story. I have only played Runescape briefly, yet I have played MS alot. I love Maple Story. It is so much fun.

I once played Runescape. I didn't really like it. Only seen someone play Maplestory, but it looked like something I will never think worthy enough to even be touched be me. >.>

For free MMO's MS pwns!!!!!!! You can actually download it on your computer. THe grpahics in Runescape are so confusing and once you get out of the tutorial island you're lost and someone can kill you mad easily. In MS, although we don't have pvp (we do have summons 
) its a user friendly game.
