Me too : I let the music for games like Dragon Quest or Castlevania but turn it off for Tetris or Bomberman.

When I was 8, I was playing with a friend to Chip'n Dale on NES. At the final boss, I put a bottle on the table near the NES and... the "shock" made the game freeze ! The NES was an excellent console but way too fragile for kids ^^'

I only use cheats to skip some stupid quests like collecting XXXXXX [put a stupid item name here].

The original Gameboy with Tetris (first Vs game of my life !), Super Mario Land and a brick shaped case.
