I have played both games, ranger and mystery dungeon, and I can say from expirience that they are both equaly fun, just in different ways. mystery dungeon can get pretty emmotional at the end, if you get really into it like I did (played the whole game through first day I got it, all night, non stop!), and in pokemon ranger it can get pretty intence, because you actualy have to draw circles around the pokemon to capture it. then we come to the issue of the pokemon themselves. in pokemon ranger, to get new pokemon, you may have to release some pokemon, and with legendaries (post if you want the list) that may be a problem, since they don't go back where you found them. in mystery dungeon, however, you get to keep all the pokemon you recruit, but you should only recruit one of each pokemon, since thats all theres room for in their friend areas if you want them all. but in any case, I can attest that both games are worth purchasing. I hope this helps. :weep:
