I use Media Player Classic for everything, and it's only failed me once. But yeah, I had to download some basic codecs like DivX.

I've had mine for years, and I've been lucky enough not to have any problems with it. The only issue I've had is that a certain scene in Xenosaga makes it freeze, but that's an issue with the game, not my PS2.

I can't believe I still haven't finished that game. I picked it up at GameStop years ago for $20, but I only got to play it every other weekend, so I kind of lost interest. I would start another game now, but I have so many others I still have to finish.I got really stuck in the place with the vines and water (I think you had to mess with the flowers to purify the water, and there was a big fight right after?) and ended up having to get the strategy guide.

FFIX, which oddly enough, if one of the few FF games I don't own.
