I actually had my last account on here deleted due to inactivity but seeing as from the long time frame since I really used the site and all the stuff I got from here I decided to make a new account today and donate to the site. It depends on the person. Some people simply generate hate, because they like the feeling being hateful gives them.Other people have legitimate reasons to be very angry. A rape victim has every right to hate their rapist and wish horrible death and eternal damnation on them. A mother who loses a son to a drunk driver with multiple dwi offenses has a reason to hate the driver who callously disregards human life.In my case, an unended reservoir of hatred and ill-wishes is generated from an absolutely horrible time in high school and my parents favoring my younger brother, who happens to be an unrepentant drug abuser.So, tl;dr. really does depend on the person. Some have a reason, some just want a scapegoat for their woes.

I agree with/like Rob's justification.On the other hand, whereas we all emphasised on the "bad" hatred---i.e. associated with one or more poor outcomes from an incident.Using an alternative perspective, I believe there's also possible to generate "good" hatred. For example, an incident that leads to an universal "hatred" within the majority of the people involved/associated with the incident. I guess the concept is somewhat far-fetched but what I am getting at is that everyone are united to hate the "one thing" for a single consensual reason; example from my personal experience is that I was able to befriend a couple of students from my degree on the sole basis that we all had a poor relationship with one of the professors due to his egocentric/authoritarian/ignorant personality---I won't go into the details because I'm sure we've all met people who simply don't have a sense of appreciation, I dare say it's just out of pure ego and too used to people kissing his @$$, about anything that others do (for them or not).Anyways, back onto topic... So it gave us commonality and we got through the subject together---end of story =P
