In Topic: Acekard 2i on DSi Firmware 1.4

I downloaded Scribblenauts, doubleclicked the zip to open in WinZip, dragged and dropped the nds from the zip to the root of the SD card, put it back into Acekard and the card in NDSi, started NDSi, entered AKAIO 1.4.1 (2i is patched - I can see the Danny), selected the 2ch-snauts.nds and started by pressing A"Loading" forever. Is there any wrong (or missing) step above? I'm sure you all can run them but I'm obviously missing something crucial...UPDATE:I switched from AKAIO to the Acekard firmware and now the stuff WORKS !!!!!!!!!!!!So it seems only my AKAIO has issues running them... UPDATE 2:I found on the Acekard site an update to the Loader. No idea what a loader is but I had an older one in the AKAIO distribution, once this updated AKAIO 1.4.1 worked as well !!!!So all my problems solved, hope this helps also some others.

My impressions about DSi:+ The cameras are funny for quickly editing some snapshots of your pals, same for the builtin sound editor. It surely wears off after a while, but it's there.+ safer wireless mode, also for your vacation time (yes I do read emails and news on it)+ faster processors (if you can compare)- my biggest issue: it has no Flash support in the Opera browser (processor still too weak, I wonder how come PSP manages that)- battery life not really impressive- too bad if you aready have GBA-based games, like Guitar Hero (not my problem luckily)So I'd go with the crowd saying: if you already have a Lite, stay with it. If you're a newbie get a DSi.

yes, you just need to update the acekard firmware. if your dsi is already system version 1.4, you will need a ds or ds lite to update your acekard

But were you able to run on this combination (DSi + updated 2i) any downloaded nds from this site? (I mean DGEmu) For me they are all just writing "Loading..." like forever. I don't really think the hardware+flash are the problem as I am able to run the homebrew application Colors on it. Any hint here?
