I prefer Nintendo. All the big name games (the good ones anyway) were all on the NES and the SNES. I never liked the N64 though. Sega had its share of good games, but nowhere close to Nintendo.

I'm an "old-timer" gamer, so simple Mortal Kombat is good enough for me.

The Simpsons by leaps and bounds, although I have nothing against Family guy. I'll watch it sometimes...

I prefer desktops, but what to get depends on the usage. A student or businessman may want to get a laptop, while big gamers may favor a desktop due to the better hardware.
