It's good when you keep the silent protaganist - but the moment anyone makes a transition *e.g. the protagonist isn't the protagonist anymore*, and the character of choice starts talking, it usually ruins any conceptions that anyone has of him.

Firstly, I don't want to even think about the programming hell that they'd have to go through - you'd have to reprogram RSE into DS, reformat Kanto to match RBY, and then there'd need to be a link between all of them + Sinnoh, and the new land (Black and White), and fit that all on a cartridge. Oh, and You'd also need to reformat all the sprites so that people would think of it as "fresh" not "lazy". But that's my own BS.Personally, I think that although it'd be great, it'd just too much of a massive undertaking for them to consider at this moment. For now, it's expand and conquer in terms of Pokemon, and until they actually realize that they've stretched it too far, they're probably not going to go for it.
