No I don't think it would be much better excluding graphics the controls would be a little to clunky for a fast paced game like pokemon. It should stick to handhelds.

#5031844 Which is best for a non-dark type pokemon to use, crunch or bite?

Posted by Gameseeker17 on 15 August 2012 - 09:31 PM

Obviously other people have been saying that Crunch is suppose to be better than Bite, and I agree; 20 more damage is better than 20% higher chance to flinch. Now my question is if your Arcanine is holding a King's Rock or Razor Fang (it says you can increase your ability to flinch), wouldn't it increase your 30% to something even higher?

#4591305 killer instinct or mortal combat

Posted by Scratchodile Rock on 05 May 2009 - 12:58 AM

I'd say Killer Instict was a better game. It was more focused on easily performed combos. While it was cool to get a fatality to work in MK it took alot of practice to get both the timing right and button presses. It was far more rewarding to me to get an 18+ combo with any of the characters in KI. It really is a shame that there weren't many sequels to it.On a sidebar, more people chose Mortal Kombat as their fav, but less than half of them remembered to spell it right. Even the topic starter. o.O

#5030545 Which is best for a non-dark type pokemon to use, crunch or bite?

Posted by Guest on 12 August 2012 - 04:06 AM

Keep extreme speed, that's always necessary. Especially since it's a first priority move. Bite is pretty weak compared to crunch but i never really use crunch either, unless i have to. As far as fire moves I usually go with anything that can over power my opponent. In this case the attack moves suggested being: Fire Fang and Flare Blitz which are both highly strong moves, not to mention they're both fire moves. I'd hardly ever use a dark move such a Crunch for Growlith. The only Crunch move i have is used for my lvl 56 Houndoom, but he's a dark/fire pokemon. :P

As far as what i use to battle with fire pokemon, that's a different story. I use over over powered moves to ensure victory. Moves such as Fire Blast, Overheat, and Blast burn! Hehe.. Moves like that don't really help in a pokemon contest, but they sure help in a pokemon battle.
