My 3 fave pilots are
Domon Kasshu, Rain Mikamura, and Allenby. I also like Chibodee, Sai, George, and Argo. From Gundam Seed and Seed Destiny, I like Kira Yamato best. I also like Athrun Zala and Cagalli Yula Athha (Kira's twin sister). Heero Yuy and Duo Maxwell are my faves from Gundam Wing, along with Zechs.

Hi everyone! Sorry for the long absence, but I've just had alot going on in my life lately...my old dog Chance died in June of 2010 and I'm still grieving...he was my best friend for 14 years. We've got a new puppy now, a hyperactive 10-month old female German Shepherd mix named Bella (named for the Italian word for beauty), and I've been doing alot of gaming on my PS2 and XBox 360, but I'm back now.

There really isn't any point in downloading 3DS ROMs for a while since they can't be emulated.

Also We have a DLC (Download Centre) in which I will be opening a new NDS section (for free NDS games, over 100MB each), and plan on having a free 3DS section as well but need to download 3DS games to populate it first (and unfortunately I am busy populating the NDS section at the moment, I want to open it up by Thursday at the latest).

Oh wow, that's pretty cool.

I wasn't really a big fan of Gundam myself but i did like. The only reason i wasn't a huge fan was probably just because i never saw much of the anime. Tbh the only ones i saw were Gundam Wing and G-Gundam (which by the way is my favorite!). Though i haven't even finished it yet. I'm still only on a few episodes at the start of season 2. =(

I've also seen the original series, Mobile Suit Gundam, Gundam 0080, Gundam 0083, and 08th MS Team. I've got all of Wing, Seed, Seed Destiny, and G-Gundam in DVD boxed sets. The last Gundam model I built was the Master Grade of the Strike Freedom, and I'm getting the Master Grade model of the Zeta Gundam for my birthday, which is coming up on Thanksgiving.

A pic of my Master Grade Strike Freedom Gundam model kit:

#5046503 Favorite Fire Emblem Class

I think I would have to go with the summoner. Even though the phantom you summon is fairly weak, it does distract the enemy into attacking a nonimportant character as aposed to potentially killing one of your group.

#5046018 WiiU - skeptical?

Posted by deeluna on 02 November 2012 - 04:05 AM

Okay first of all the Wii U tablet controller is only needed for player one. There are up to 5 players, for example in the case of New Super mario bros u, Player 1 makes platforms for player 2-5 to step on during the game. Now that's just that game, other games take advantage of it as a second screen in other ways. And I saw a rumor about it being able to stream the game you are playing directly to the tablet so that the tv is free for others to watch and what not. Now I do admit that the damn thing is huge, but is isn't very heavy and actually rather comfortable to hold. So think of the Wii U as an oversized, overpowered DS where you hold the touch screen instead of the full set of screens. The concept works in a handheld already so why not?

Also to note that players 2-5 use Wiimotes and the wiimote add-ons such as the nunchuck or the classic controller. Or even the wii u pro pad which is basically a stand alone classic controller with a layout change. Though I don't think that the tablet is needed as the main controller all the time. But who knows until we all get the chance to really get our hands on the system.

Though the second screen idea wasn't the first use in a console, remember the gameboy advance and the gamecube? I am sure there might have been previous attempts at this but I can't think of what they would be besides PC.

I won't get one on the grounds that the launch titles suck. A bunch of ports, a hand full of exclusive console concept games gets you used to the control system games sort of thing, and only one Mario game. They are banking on people using the eshop for wiiware and the virtual console for gamecube games and back. Why bother since I still have my wii and gamecube games.

#5045938 Hello again

Very good then. I will do my best to get some mirrors going. Wii is the major ones I can do right now due to my wii already being hacked and using a USB Loader. Already made a mirror for dragon quest Swords for that matter.

#5045000 Suicide: a coward's way out or a human's right?

Posted by PKOverdrive on 28 October 2012 - 02:20 PM

Death is dramatized. Dastardly as this might make me seem, it must be understood that people will suffer and people will die. Those who wish to die should first undergo a medical analysis to check for serotonin, alpha-endorphin, etc. levels. If the problem lies elsewhere, they should be given a course of antidepressants, whatever the psychotherapist prescribes.

Once there is no longer any doubt that there is either no detectable pathology in the individual or it cannot be treated in any effective manner, then we can conclude that this individual is not capable of living in their current conditions. At this point, the individual may make a choice to either try and adjust their living conditions to their liking or to commit suicide. This is a choice they are free to make, but only after the aforementioned steps.

A citizen is a resource of their government. The government has a right and a logical obligation to itself to try and preserve its resources, and especially its people.

From a more personal point of view, this is a complex topic, and I think that in many ways it all comes down to a person's mental fortitude. One must be egoistic and maybe a bit narcissistic to continue their struggle to live against all odds and against everything. However, tenacity is what nature prefers. Homo sapiens sapiens has just one distinguishing feature when compared to other animals (sans intellect), and that's endurance. Sheer endurance. People who chose to endure just for the sake of enduring, people who realized their lives will be filled only with strife, but continued to live them just for the sake of fighting, because conflict is all they know, these are the people from whom most of the world is descended from.

I realize that I might sound like a social Darwinist, but that is not the case. We must do all we can to preserve human life, and only when it is clear that the choice to end one's life is made in a state of clear thought may we allow suicide for that one individual.
