RE games are masterpieces of modern gaming. The movie franchise, with the exception of the first one, is sucking the name Resident Evil dry. What do you think? RE games vs. RE franchise. Let's hear it!!!!

Currently, just about any female character from DOA5. I must say, they did a really good job with the character models.

All of my other games work fine without having any bios or firmware files but I did try downloading a complete package of 2.6a that came with all of that and the zoomer. I had the same issues I'm having now except that when opening it with the zoomer, instead of getting the "Memory messed up" error, it just gave me the "This program has encountered a serious error and must be closed" window.

Maybe I'm just not meant to play this game? Sounds like the only explanation to me haha. Either that or B&W2 are the only games that refuse to run on a virtual OS...though that wouldn't make much sense either as the emulator works perfectly fine with any other game I play.

I'm going to try the download from the thread that was linked. It looks identical to the other full package I found elsewhere but it's worth a shot. I appreciate the help, we all know emulation has it's flaws unfortunately.


Edit: Aaaand, no dice. Screw it, I'll just wait until I can get an R4 or feel like adding to the thousands of dollars I've already spent on this franchise...well actually I shouldn't say "I've spent", more like my parents back when the series first started haha

Do exactly as I say.

1. Download this: http://www.mediafire...d8yyz13obyndha2
2. Extract it.
3. Run No$Zoomer located in the folder that you should have extracted.
4. Select your rom.
5. Press OPTIONS and go to No$gba SETTINGS.
6. In EMULATION window, press the drop box under RESET/STARTUP ENTRYPOINT Choose START CARTRIDGE DIRECTLY.
7. Under NDS CARTRIDGE BACKUP MEDIA, choose FLASH 512byte.
8. Press OK.
9. Press OPTIONS and press SAVE No$gba SETTINGS.
10. Press OK.
11. Press OTHER, and then press CHEAT.
12. Input the Action Replay Code according to which game you want to play. (Codes below)
13. Click RAW and mark as Action Replay, press OK.
14. Press OTHER and choose EXTRA.
15. Turn on EX0 and EX5.
16. Press FILE and choose RESET.

Now you can play.

(Note) Once you are into the game play, you can double the speed of the emulator by disabling EX5.

Depending on how thorough you consider a test, I've tested the Black 2 clean .nds file with my Super Card DSTWO and it works fine.

How did you get it to work? I've tried running it in patch and clean mode on my Super Card DSTWO with no success, even deleted my .sav file and everything. It always freezes before I get into the game. (Like when I would press continue when I tried using my save or after you name your rival when starting a new game. Also when in Clean mode it freezes when it asks me to name myself.) I have the lastest firmware, eos, etc. for the SCDS2.

To the person who would patch these things...
I've encountered one bug in the patched version of Pokemon Black 2 while playing on the Super Card DSTWO. In the trainer card when you try to view the Medal Rally it always freezes. It's the thing that you go to when you click the blue circle near the bottom-right of the picture of the protagonist in your trainer card. It doesn't freeze when played in clean mode on the patched rom though, but playing the patched rom in clean mode makes it laggy.



I've also heard a lot of people complaining about a bug in the patched version where it freezes during some Pokemon tournament or something like that. But, I can't confirm it yet as I haven't gotten that far.

EDIT*
I tested a patched rom in DeSmuME and I was able to access the Medal Rally (I tested it with the save file I'm using on the SCDS2)... So I don't know why, but it keeps freezing when I try to access it on my SCDS2.

Also, I've continued to try and get the clean rom to work on my SCDS2 with no success. (I downloaded a few clean roms from different sources too.)

EDIT**
I tested clean mode on the patched rom again and there's virtually no lag now... I'm not sure why it was so laggy before, but I think I might know. I can access the Medal Rally in clean mode on the patched rom too, so everything is fine with me for now. If I encounter any other bugs or abnormalities I'll post here.
Anyways, currently on the SCDS2 the Pokemon Black Version 2 Official US release AP patched rom will freeze when trying to access the Medal Rally if your playing it in patched mode.

I have a ds and an R4, but I am unsure of the version of R4 and the software on the R4. I am looking to upgrade the software on the R4 to be able to play pokemon black and white 2.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

i have tried wood v1.53, ttmenu v6.86 and 6.88 and no luck so far. I can get v1 of the pokemon games working via ysmenu v6.73

Since I'm a total idiot, can someone walk me through how to run the White 2 Rom on DeSmuME? I already have the file downloaded, but I can't seem to get the ROM to play.

In order to play the ROM you will need to extract it using a program such as Winrar(which you may download and use for free) if you have not done so already. I have it in a seperate folder in my desmume emulator folder. Open the regular DeSmuME application, then click on File>Open ROM>Your .nds(Pokemon White) file, wherever it is located. I use Windows, but I'm sure MAC has similar navigation features. Please note, it may take a few seconds to load at first. Good luck!

I've been using a CycloDS card on my DSLite for years, apparently they made a new card called CycloDS:iEvolution that works on 3ds systems, but only up to a certain firmware version. I've purchased Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Mario Kart 7 for my 3ds and they are both worth the money I paid.

Also, from what I have read about Super Mario Land, Kingdom Hearts 3d and Resident Evil: Revelations, they are all amazing games on the 3ds. I don't actually use the 3d compatibility very often. Odd I know, sometimes it hurts my eyes if I have it on for too often and if the screen isn't in the right place it doesn't look right.

But, if i did it all over again, I'd buy the 3ds purely for Zelda and Mario Kart
