In Topic: Battle System in FFXII

i like the battle system but it has flaws, and lacks some gambits (like enemy not yet successfully atacked with ... [steal, etc])anything that makes battles automatic in rpgs is a great adition, specially in ff games where most fights are just fight -> fight -> fight till your thumbs breakwhat i didnt like whas that gambits were to be sold, and limited to your progression in the game, ff12 is poorly balanced and this is one of the many reasons

In Topic: Do you people think Handhelds are beter or Game Systems.

handhelds: portable, cheaper, better for pick up and play games, they dont require a tv, games are cheaper too, etc, etc

In Topic: Y do people hate sports games?

17 August 2007 - 03:38 PM

they are hard to enjoy if you arent into the actual sport, they are repetitive, and most of all, there is no need to spawn a new game every ***** year just to change the characters namesplus they try to be too realistic, something more arcade (capcom sports club, any of the mario sports) is funier to play

In Topic: have you ever stayed up more than 24 hours playing a game

In Topic: Final Fantasy Storyline

11 August 2007 - 03:39 PM

the problem with ff nowadays is that, unlike fire emblem, tactics ogre, or other sagas, it has no common pivotal point: there is no common religion, there is no common world, there is no common anything, just names and maybe chocobos (mogus arent coherent from one game to another)they can turn any average game into a top seller final fantasy by calling their smelling salts into phoenix down and their ice spells into blizzardaside from this, ff's target audience is very easy to impress, so a ff storyline only needs to have some flashy moments and a cool character or two. i miss the plot depth of final fantasy tactics (psx)
