I'm trying to run NesterDS on a DS-Xtreme, but it says it can't find any roms. I have a dozen NES roms on the card. Do I need to put them in a folder or what?

i've just updated the first post with instructions.make sure you are running rom_inserter.exe to insert the rom before flashing to your DS-Xtreme. that should fix the problem.

Worked like a charm. Thank you very much. One more question, is there a way to save NES games. I've tried a couple but it doesn't seem to be saving my progress.

No, I don't believe so. You can try NesDS WIP1 which supports saves, but that's still work in progress which may accidentally corrupt your memory card, and NesDS is a lot more complicated to prepare.

I think I'll pass on that one. I'd hate to corrupt my card. Most NES games don't have saves anyway. Thanks for all of your help. I really appreciate it.

You can find all the information for Goomba here:http://www.webperson.../tutorials.htmlTo make SnezziDS work, just drop the SNES game onto snezzi.exe and it'll make a .nds file for you. Put that onto your flash cart and it should run fine.

List of emulators on the DS. http://en.wikipedia....ebrew#Emulators

Thanks for the link. I've put it in the first post.

No, there isn't one, and there probably won't be one for some time. Play on a PC emulator (eg. VBA) or get a slot-2 flash cart.

for some reason it makes them as .gba files and they won't run, not even if I try to patch em, is there a specific version of snezzie I need? And I've been to that goomba guide, and didn't find it very helpful

Getting StartedBefore you can use Goomba, you need to add some GB roms to the emulator. You can do this with various tools (Goomba Front etc.).Or you can do it manual by using a "DOS" shell:copy /b goomba.gba+game1.gb+game2.gb goombamenu.gbayou can also insert a splashscreen between goomba and the first game if you want to. Make sure the game's size are correct and that they contain a "real" Nintendo header, some unlicensed games seem to use their own headers.

That's litterally allthey give you instructionwise and that doesn't help me at all...I have been trying to figure out how to do it with goomba front.

There's nothing you can do to fix the sound (except to ask the development people to hurry up). Also, you don't need to patch it to run on the supercard. Saving works fine even without patching. The error happens when you try to load a game patched with SnezziDS into the Supercard patcher. You can also try patching it with the no sound version to (maybe) improve graphics.

Will bleach ds run on any of the emulators?

NO!Well, maybe. Get Ody to test it on No$gba for you, since it isn't on the list, but don't keep your hopes up. It doesn't work on any other emulator.DON'T post the same problem twice, especially in the WRONG THREAD, and when the original thread was CLOSED!! This is about emulators ON the DS, not FOR the DS.

The compatibility with the SNES emulators are not exactly great. I just googled for "snezziboy compatibility" and found the compatibility list at PHWiki. I have included it in the first post now.Just from skimming through, about 50% of the games on that list are playable, and the rest are either partially playable or not playable at all.

I'm not sure what all of this means because I don't know much about computers. But I was wondering if all this works with a Divineo Ds M3 Lite that I got.

Look at this site from M3Wiki:http://m3wiki.com/in...mulators_for_DSIt'll give you links to download, compatibility lists and it also tells you whether it'll work on the M3.

LOL, I can't believe they have a TI-85 emulator.

Nor can I. Man, I used a TI-85 in high school 10-12 years ago. People still think about those things?
