Do not make any topic regarding any questions addressed in this FAQ or any of the other main FAQs or Rules forum threads in this site.
Do not make a topic that does not have a question or suggestion in it.
Do not post in a topic if you don’t know the answer to a question or if it has already been answered, or give the standard (and rather annoying) "gee I'd like to help but I can't sry".
Do not make topics complaining about your warn level or point deductions. If you have an issue with an action a mod has taken with you or your posts, contact him/her privately.

If you are going to make a topic suggesting a new skin for the site then make sure that you have one ready or are at least willing to put your money where your mouth is, as it were. You need to be able to present the code for it and everything. Our policy is: if you have one then we will consider it.
If you make a topic please put your problem in the topic title or topic description. Do not make topics that just say “Help” or “Suggestion.” You must elaborate.

Failure to follow any of these rules could lead to your points being deducted or a warn being issued.

Q: What are GPs/DPs and how do I get them?

Q: Why did my Global DPs go down/up to 25 today?
A: Your global DPs reset everyday no matter how many you have. They reset at midnight GMT +2.

Q: What other ways are there to get DPs other than posting?
A: We have a number of ways actually. There is the GP Rewarding Quiz, Signature of the Week, writing reviews, the DP Loan and the Screenshotters team.

Q: What is the DP loan?
A: The DP loan is an easy way to get a lot of DPs. If you have more than 50 posts then you can click the DP Loan link on the homepage and decide how many points you want and how many days you are willing to wait for your Global DPs to reset again. Read the DP Loan guide for further details.

Q: Will a staff member give me GPs or can my friend give me some GPs?
A: Yes and no. A moderator will occasionally hand out some extra GP for high quality or helpful posts. However, transferring GPs between accounts will not be allowed here because of how easy it would be to create duplicates solely for the purpose of transferring.

Q: Can I use my global DPs before I use my other DPs?
A: No because the system uses the specialty DPs first. However, we would suggest that you save your GPs and always convert to Global DPs when you have enough GPs to download a game. The system specific DPs are mostly used as prizes for contests or in return for donations so that the DP are not lost. Remember that the normal conversion rate is 30 GP = 1 DP.

Q: Why is my conversion rate higher than normal?
A: You got warned for breaking the rules. You can lower your warn level by helping the site. You can help the site by reporting or helping those in need. A mod will give you a negative warn if he/she believes that you deserve it. Read the Warn FAQ for further details.

Q: Why did my DPs get deducted if I didn’t finish my download?
A: If you clicked the download link then the DPs are deducted even if it didn’t finish.

Q: How do I change my display name/post color/member title (egg)?
A: Go to the DG Store

protip: instead of paying 3,500GP to change your post color/style, you can always do it manually when you post. It takes up a few extra seconds, but it's free.

Q: Can we have a shoutbox/foreign language forum/DP Reset Increase?
A: The global daily reset has been doubled over the past few months from 12.5 to 25, that's the best we can do for now since this site costs several hundred dollars a month to run as it is.

Reviews FAQ

Q: How do I write a Review?
A: From the details page of every game click

. Look to the left and you will see a "Post Review" section. Click where is says "Click here" and begin your review. Please be sure to delete the "Write your review here.." text first or it'll appear in your review. When you're done, rate the game below and then simply click submit to send it for inspection.

Q: Oops! I made an error. Is there any way to fix/edit my review?
A: Not at the moment. Maybe a future version will allow review inspectors to edit reviews and correct errors for you. Do not worry, nobody demands perfection so if it is a decent review, it will still be accepted.

Q: What is in it for me?
A: If you write a highly exceptional review, you will receive 10 Dps for your efforts. The DP placement depends upon the system of the game you reviewed. For example, if you reviewed a GBA game, you'd get NDS/GBA Dps wheras if it was a NES game, you'd get NCDPs. Under no circumstances will you ever recieve Global DPs because they will lost within a day (possibly before you even knew you had them). If you don't review DPs, then your only reward is the satisfaction of contributing something to dgemu.

Q: How will I know if my review is approved?
A: Simple. It'll then appear in the reviews section of that particular game. Notice that you will not be informed on whether your review has been approved so check back periodically (typically if your review is not present after 48 hours, then it was probably declined).

Q: How can I check my review after submission?
A: If your review is accepted it'll appear amongst the others for that particular game. The only way to see if it's there is to navigate to the review page. Currently there is no system to track your reviews.

Q: My review was approved, but I did not get any DPs, why?
A: Not all approved reviews will earn you 10 DPs. As briefly mentioned above, only those which are of a highly professional standards are worthy of reward.

Q: I lost Dps!!

A: Both plagiarism and spamming will not be tolerated. If our review inspectors find out that you've copied from an official review site like GameFaqs or see you just sent garbage, your review will not only get declined, but you will be penalized 10 Dps as well. Please only submit original and meaningful material.
NOTE: If you created a review for another site that you then wish to submit here as well, it may be best to mention this at the top of review so you are not mistakenly accused of plagiarism.

Q: If writing reviews copied from places like Gamefaqs is not allowed, then why do I see some there?
A: Either they were missed or they were submitted before that rule was made.

Q: Is there a limit to the total number of DPs I can earn from submitting reviews?
A: No. As long as your reviews are legitimate, written by you, and of high quality, you may earn 10 DPs for every review you submit, regardless of how many you have submitted in total. Note that any spamming or plagiarizing (as interpreted by the review inspectors) will earn you a deduction for each review falling under those categories.

Q: Who are the review inspectors?
A: Anyone who is support staff or higher as well as a few selected members can inspect your reviews. Do not badger them if you think that you deserved a reward, but did not receive it because there is no way for anybody to know who saw your review. If however, you have other types of questions, then feel free to ask (but most of them should have already been answered in this guide)

Q: So how do I write a review that is guaranteed to earn me DPs?

**First of all, I'd like to re-emphasize that your review must be written by you. It is easy to see if the review has been plagiarized or "ripped” from a different site. If you are caught plagiarizing or ripping you lose 10 DP’s**

To start off, make sure you have played the game and understand something about it before making the review. This will ensure that your review is accurate and your chances of getting DPs are increased. Below is a fictitious review that will help you understand how and what a quality review is.

The above review is "wrong" because it contains the following mistakes:
1. It is too short. Your review should be at least 50 words in length. Although this is just a suggested amount, the reason behind it is that it takes a considerable number of words to product a quality review.
2. Try to stay a way from using vague/generalized phrases or sentences like “this game is the best”.
3. Be sure to use proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation and try to stay away from odd symbols such as the above

The quality of this game was relatively high. I enjoyed the overall feel of the game and would suggest it as a download. Like the other games in the series it offers a wide range of pokemon and characters to encounter and battle. This game is strategic and will challenge you with puzzles to complete.

The above review is half way decent and guarantees acceptance, but the reviewer would still unlikely be awarded the 10 DP’s since it does not cover all aspects of the game.

Now the following review is the type that I and other review inspectors would award. It divides all the game elements (e.g. graphics, sound, gameplay, etc or different game modes where applicable) and analyzes them independently. this US version is a perfect adaptation from Japanese version. The only different is the translation.
(Glitch or miracle) I'm not sure how to put this. But if you see carefully especially SRW fans who still have "savegame " from the japanese version, you can use your save game and put them in us version without any problem. and this also works for cheats code also.

About the game stories it self.
Basically this game is a turn based strategy war game using Banpresto original characters that mostly appears in super robot war (SRW) game series. The story is directly related to 1st series of SRT OG 1 (6 months after). see review from SRT OG for more review.

Way to play
+basically like most of SRW series you can get PP (pilot points) + EXP (experience) + $$ (money) from defeating enemies/completing mission. The way to distribute them is up to you. Usually people tend to put their effort more on their particular/favorite unit.
+There are 3 type of fields in the game.
1. Intermission fields (In this fields you will modified, review, status of your mech and pilot)
2. Map fields is where you put your unit in used againts your enemy and its based on episode.
3. Animation fields is where the action of your unit become to lives (either attack,support,or defend)

Overall review.
Like I said before in technical glitch/ miracle section. This game is perfect for SRW fans who can't speak/read japanese which already / starting to play this 2nd series of SRT OG.

Negative response:
there is no neg response regarding this game I play until episode 32 and I didn't find anything to complain about.
Nice music, very good graphic animation, heavy plot, a lot of cool mechs. I even say that this game is a little bit better than SRW J which is also good but the music is kind of annoying.

Last words

Definitely get this! If you like it a lot, please be sure to support ATLUS US by buying the original of this game so that they might consider to adapt more SRW games to US.

Basically how our donating system works is as follows:

Once the donation has been made, you will be able to choose which types of DPs you will like to be offered. These are:
GBA DPs
NC DPs
Atari DP
Sega DPs

Of course, you will be able to convert your DPs to other DPs (This option is available to donators only!). Which brings you to the next point.
