Yoshi's Island - Super Mario Advance 3: Reviews

Game Score: 9/10
You probably all are familiar with are cute little Yoshis already. Yoshi is a really popular character from the Mario series.
This is the inside scoop of the game.
Graphics:
Actually, I was not totally impressed by the graphics, to be honest. The colors made the game look like it was really old, and for a late version of the Gameboy. Other than that though, it was pretty awesome. I love baby mario! So cute~
8/10
Sound and Music:
Pretty good, not too shabby at all. Yoshi's cry is cuter than ever! The background music was pretty average, but it was still great. The sound effects are just as you would expect them to be for a Yoshi game, but with a pint of spice!
9/10
Controls:
The controls are pretty good (once you get used to them, that is) For a beginner, they might be a tad overwhelming, but you can handle it. It's not that hard a game. It's actually easier on the actual Gameboy. I suggest that if you have a Psp, you download it on there so you can experience the game with the buttons you're used to. (it's only a suggestion, but you can go ahead and play on the computer if you like)
9/10
Game Play:
The story and plot of the game is very good. Yoshi's Island is sort of a modified arcade game, but all the same it is good. It's very satisfying to complete each level, collect each coin, egg, you name it! All the classical villains are all jam-packed in the game. Remember Shy-Guy? How about Bullet-Bill? Who could forget!
10/10
Note from the reviewer:
Overall, a fantastic game. If you are into minigames and extras and newer versions of games, I would suggest Yoshi's Island for the DS, which is mostly the same, only with more graphics and characters (if you have enough DPs to download it). But all-in-all, I'd say I would recommend this game to my friends.
