Yu-Gi-Oh! - The Eternal Duelist Soul: Reviews

Game Score: 10/10

Well I just got this game, and the minute I started playing I was amazed. I have played Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 5 Expert 1 in Japanese, but this one is a lot better and easier because I don't know why but I have an easier time reading English. Also everything is written out so cleary! In Duel Monsters 5 Expert 1 everything was basically mushed together so it was hard to read things.

Gameplay: Wonderful!! In this game you have a deck of 40 cards which you can update later as you keep winning. This game is a little different than the game Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories for Playstation, becauase in that game you were only allowed to have 40 cards in your deck. Also to get cards by password you had to pay starchips. In this game you can have up to 53 cards in your deck, and you don't have to pay anything to get cards by password! It's great! The only drawback is you have to duel each people many times before you can get to the next stage. But since this game is fun it won't be a boring ride to get there.

Music: Great!! The music is just like Duel Monsters 5 Expert 1, but it sound better on Eternal Duelist Soul for some reason. I guess I'm crazy lol. Well the only drawback to the music can be getting sick of it. The music is always the same, and since you have to duel each people many times, you might get sick of it (and if you're unluckey you might go crazy lol) But overall the music is fine.

Graphics: No problem! Well the graphics is great. It looks a lot better than Duel Monsters 5 Expert 1 because the menue screen is a lot brighter, and the words during duels are written in bright colors. The only drawback is your eyes might hurt, but that's with every single game, right?

Controls: Superb. The controls are easy to memorize, and if you have played Duel Monsters 5 Expert 1 then you will be fine because the controls are exactly the same. If you have never played Duel Monsters 5 Expert 1, then you will still have no problem. You will be able to practice enough. You will get the controls down pat very quickly.

To Rent or Buy?: Well unless you want to play 24 hours for 5 days I would buy it. This game will take a while because you have to beat each duelist many times, and also because there are a lot of cards. This game is not that expensive, certainly not as expensive as Playstation 2 games, so just spend 35 to 40 dollars and buy this game! Trust me you will get your money's worth.
