There's nothing else like it. Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones is one of the best Fire Emblems I've ever played. First of all, RPGs have always been my favourite, but then they combined it with strategy and made Fire Emblem ^_^.
So now that it's led on to this, Fire Emblem 8, there are alot of new things to do from FE7 (Rekka no Ken/TheBlazing Sword). First of all, there are 'trainee' classes, who are classes before the standard classes (like Journeyman promotes to Pirate), there's the Promotion branches, new classes and a whole new array of a continent. This game was fun because you can play it through many times, and it's hard to get bored of it because every character is good in its own way, and there are lots of things to change each playthrough. The only thing that let me down was the game's general short length and the not-so-good plot.
