Game Score: 9/10
While it may simply look like another hashed-out version of YGO, this game is surprisingly descent. Unlike the others in this series, this version has by far the largest collection of cards which actually adds depth to the game play. Rather than just creating the same "Beat Down" deck that you were forced to create in all of the other games, you get to diversify and take cards that work well with each other to form theme decks. And with thousands of cards, you can just create a new theme deck if the game play becomes stale.
The new twist on this game is actually a remodelling of the original YGO game, where you have straight forward pyramid structure for you opponents, in that rather than facing human opponents that you find in the anime, you are facing different monsters that come from the game. There is no real story that is worth mentioning which is actually a bonus for this game since you can only hear about the rare card hunter so many times before it become stale.
This game is great on all of the fundamental aspects that you would be looking for in a YuGiOh game which makes it one of the greatest thus far for card games.
Game Play: 10- It can get a little stale but you can just change you deck to add new excitement
Sound: 3- It's the basic card game music. You would be better if you just played the game on mute.
Graphics: 9- Some of the cards are pretty impressive. It is a step up from its predecessors
Story: 9- There is none so I gave it points for that.
Replayable? Yes- The game has so many cards that it's easy to change you deck
Overall: 9- The only point is lost because of the brutal music.
