Spider-Man 3: Reviews

Game Score: 7/10

[Story: 7]

-Graphics-
What the creators also seem to think, is that mixing 3D elements(characters, objects, etc) in a 2D game is good. But it's not always like that. Because in this Spider-Man game, that mixture of 2D and 3D results in all human characters having no face. Yes, that's right: No. Face.
Okay, so the cut-scene pictures that were taken from the movie and edited for a GBA game looked reasonably, but come on; why do those characters have NO FACES?!

[Graphics: 6]

-Sound-
The game tries to copy the dramatic sound the movie has. In a part, it succeeds. In some levels the sound gives a pretty good ambiance in comparison with the setting the level is in. However, there are parts it utterly fails, resulting in letting the player hear death/goth/heavy metal ish doom music. Which sucks balls.

[Sound: 7]

-Game-play-
The game-play of this game is actually quite easy; easy to do, and easy to learn. It gets explained to you to the first mission, and very easy to pick up.
There's Web slinging, web shooting, doing cool stuff with web shooting, attacking in the form of punches, kicks and uppercuts 'n stuff, and off course you can stick yourself to the wall and climb those things. It would be impossible for you -as the player of this game- to not understand the controls.

[Game-play: 7,5]

-Conclusion-
If you can find yourself to look at the graphics and loose story and be somewhat amused, this game is something for you. Or, you could just be all like "Hey the movie was good let's go check out the game" and maybe like it.
Although it is enjoyable, it's not really a 'good' game, but it's not bad either.
