How would I describe this game in one word? Meh. Pure meh. The graphics are pretty passable, but gameplay is awful. Let's just forget that it is in Italian for a second, and focus on how irrational it is.

Let's see... on level 3, you have trains travelling over broken tracks.BROKEN TRACKS! Not only do these LAZY game designers want spiderman to get electrocuted by gaps in the railway tracks, but also get smacked in the face.

Spiderman also seems to be able to swing across town via webbing, which is hanging on to NOTHING!(probably skyhooks or some such)

Instead of moving around unseen on stealth missions, the security cameras are next to impossible to avoid, so you have to get the alarms to go off(which only make one baddy appear) and then web the camera and move on to the thumbs up at the end of the level.

Now, the storyline, which has little to do with the movie.

Insead of a cool fight with the Green Goblin Jr., he just hangs in mid air throwing bombs, while spidey either web or punches him.

You need to save random civillians by punching the conveniently placed sprinkler handels.The "civillio" then give you keys to proceed. 'Nuff said.

The only benefit of the Venom suit(teh black one) is that it ohko's every baddy, except for that purple one wif the big schtick which of course makes tonnes of sense. There are three ways to get the suit:

1. Build up your 'rage metre' by smashing baddies
2. Get the black spider hanging in mid air
3. Grab the powershroom before the goombas do

The game also includes villains like Kingpin and Electro, who never appear in the film.

The sandman is strangely unimaginative and only turns his hands into hammers(and makes a wall once in a while)

The sound is awful, and each badguy says hi every tme he meets you, and the music is generic.

Overall, I give this game a 3

The saving grace being the web, whisch is fun to run around with, which gets really old REALLY fast.

If you like games with little or no story, and mindless repetitive action, play Alien Hominid instead. At least it's fun!
