Game Score: 7/10

Overall score: 7 out of 10

Introduction: Konami has released the second Gameboy Color Version of DDR. It is an interesting choice for Konami to release a DDR game on the Gameboy Color. It takes hits from its playstation entries and combines them to create Dance Dance revolution 2 for Gameboy color.

Graphics: The graphics for this game is blocky and distorted at times, otherwise it is average. The arrows are colorful but hard to see and negatively impacts the score for the songs. The character models are bland and distracting. I disliked the graphics because it is hard to play with blinking characters and a dark background with dark colored arrows.

Music: Good songs to play, the quality of the sound files are horrible and with only 16 bit sound abilities it limited the voices of the singers and the full power of the music. Otherwise easy on the ear.

Gameplay: Here is the redeeming feature of this game is the gameplay. Even with average graphics, the dancing in the game is fun and challenging giving hours of fun to all willing to invest the time to play. I liked the constant arrows flying by and the various levels of difficulty are balanced and the overall game is solid thanks to good development of the actual gameplay.

Overall: A nice diversion but can not compare to the newer versions for the playstation 2 or the xbox.

Final score: 7 colorful arrows out of 10.
