Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 is one of the Pokemon spinoffs, but is very special in its own ways.

It hase nearly 300 monsters, all of which can be bred to produce rare and powerful varieties. Another of my favorite features that is present in all of the Dragon warrrior series is the cumulative level up system, where Stats of bred monsters carry over to their offspring and have a direct influence on their baby's stats, which makes the chances for extremely powerful monsters very possible.

The Graphics are pretty good for a GB game, about 8/10. The walking speed is a little slow. The music is pretty good, and is a 7/10, because of the small number of tunes.

Where the game really shines is its near infinite replayability found in the Secret Keys found after the game, which allow for random game worlds and endless fun and arenas to Catch 'Em All!

If you can, go out and get this game! It is fun, cheap, and a great travel companion if you want to breed to get that rare Duran or Pizarro.
