Game Score: 8/10
Comix Zone was a thrilling game that I've enjoyed; and I hope you read this and become convinced that you'll enjoy it to. This game isn't particular put into one genre, as it's somewhat unique.
Gameplay - 7/10
The gameplay in this game is some of the most unique stuff I've seen. Some of it's simple like rushing to the side of each panel (yes, you move inbetween panels for fights, as if rushing through an actual comic book.) and pressing down to pick up items, but there's a decent array of moves, and it's all dependant on how you use them. The game is very hard to beat though.
Graphics - 8/10
The graphics feel on this game is very good. It does it's purpose of making it look just like you're going through the comic book, and storyline wise you are. The appearance of your character doing all the moves while fighting is the icing on the cake while it keeps it's unique and fun to play feel. The graphics are worth a gander.
Sound - 7/10
The sound in this game wasn't so great; but it did it's job of making the game sound good, just like the graphics made it look good and the gameplay made it feel good.
Storyline - 9/10
This storyline, although somewhat cheesy, is still very unique. You play as Sketch, a comic-book artist who gets stuck in his own comic, fighting the certain enemies that he created himself. Sketch goes through the adventure his hero is supposed to be going through, but perhaps he can still do the job.
Though my review is short, the game is not. Play it. You'll really love it. I give it an 8/10!
