007 - The World is Not Enough: Reviews

Game Score: 7/10

The first James Bond game on the N64 since the famous Goldeneye, it actually holds up ok. This game does not sustain, amaze and last like Goldeneye 007 did, but it still has great gameplay. People may find the game mechanics such as the movement and the shooting a lot less impressive than other shooter's. The single player missions will at times feel rushed, but replaying them on the greater difficulties can unlock rewards and pose an entertaining challenge. The graphics are passable, it makes a change having a James Bond who looks almost like one, and the framerate and pace of the game are flawless. Multiplayer has more options and interests available than Goldeneye, and although people will most likely find this less eye catching it still makes for some fun games. This is a worthwhile gaming experience, and an enjoyable, slick, inventive game, which could have used a bit of fine tuning for atmosphere and game mechanics.
