Game Score: 6/10

Yoshi's Story puts you in control of everyone's favourite dinosaur/chameleon/WTF, Yoshi. Six of them in fact. Baby Bowser has stolen the Super Happy Tree, and now the Yoshi are sad. So it's up to you to use the tongue-lashing, flutter-jumping, egg-crapping abilities of the yoshi to bring down the pint-sized terror.

Graphics: 4.5 / 10: All eye candy aside, the graphics here are really, really dissapointing. It looks like something a toddler drew, and in fact, certain scenes are colored out of the lines (cause they like bein' themselves).

Sound: 7 / 10: While decent and by far better than the graphics, the sound is nothing that'll wet your pants. The music is OK and all, but if anyone ever figures out what those sounds the Yoshi are making, the world will end.

Gameplay: 6.5 / 10: And that's being generous. Remeber Yoshi's Island for the SNES? EXACT SAME GAMEPLAY AND CONTROLS!!! Oh wait! No, its not the same....Yoshi's Island actually offered some challenges!

Replay Value: 6.5 / 10: Yeah, yeah, there's a couple of extra yoshi colors you can unlock, but it's not even worth it. The game is boring enough the first time around, let alone for replay.

Buy, Rent, or Dump: 6 / 10: Ummmmmm......yeah, go ahead and just rent this one, if you even want to do that much.

Overall Score: 6.1 / 10

Truly a sad day for gamers and dinosuar/chameleon/WTF's alike. The famous Mario-brand difficulty has been so watered down as to be non-existent, the graphics are primitive at best, and the game itself is as boring as watching paint dry. This game is a serious let-down. :-(
