Mario Golf was a game like no other. Sense the company "Camelot Software Planing" made the first installment of Hot Shots Golf for the PlayStation. It seemed like Nintendo 64 was out of a golf game, wrong, a year later, Camelot released Mario Golf which was similar to hot shots golf but it had new modes, used mario characters and introduced some new faces as well. The Gameplay Mechanics of this game are simple enough for anyone to play while keeping its semi relistic for a golf fan to love. The Graphics are fairly good for its time, the Characters are a bit blocky and might not look good on an Nintendo 64 Emulator but it wasn't terrible and the texture quality was decent. The Sound is great, great music and some character voices added on (which was a fairly hard thing to do on the Nintendo 64 with not alot of Storage to use) so those are some advantages of the game. Overall its a really fun game with alot of challange, its 4 players so a great party game for you and your friends and has alot of modes like speed golf and mini golf. You can unlock new characters by versuing them and use them when you beat them in a 18 hole match. You can also unlock courses with exp points earned after you do a character challange or a tourniment. I give this title a 8/10 and has great replay value.
