Nanostray is a tradional top-down shooter in every sense. And in every sense it is good.

If you enjoy TDS's (and lets face it - who doesen't?) then this game definately deserves a try. From a good selection of weaponry (available for use against different enemies with a simple touch of the HUD on the bottom screen), to the co-op gameplay, this game leaves you feeling like your playing Galaga for the first time as a kid (or for those that are past my generation, playing [insert your favorite TDS here] for the first time).

Graphically, it's certainly not groundbreaking, but it also doesent leave you wanting something else. The models for the game are of an excellent quality, and certainly leave you satisfied. The music and soundFX are also of the same high quality you've come to expect from games of this sort. Difficulty wise, it's hard. Really hard. Although the one saving grace is that after each level you are given a savepoint so you won't have to go through it all over again if you run out of lives. Theres also a challenge mode that lets you unlock gallery images. The only areas I would say this game were lacking in would be that it is, unfortunately, quite short. Regardless, it's well worth the time and points to check this title out!
