Game Review for Nintendogs:Dachshund & Friends by Lala2008

Setting:In this game, you take place of a character, (name and gender will be chosen in the settings panel) that takes care of a dog/dogs by feeding, washing, playing, teaching tricks, and other fun things like Walking your dog or entering him/her in contest. In Nintendogs:Dachshund & Friends, you can pick a variety of dogs to choose from at the beginning of the game. Examples of these dogs are: Siberian Husky, Dachshund, Shitzu, and many more. There are male and female breeds in this game, and many different type of personality's for the dogs, such as peppy, eager, ect. You use the microphone feature of the DS to teach your dog tricks, whistle to call him/her and to call his/her name, which is a plus. You use the touch screen for walks, contests, and to pet your puppy. This is a really good game for long trips and is a really great game for Simulation-lovers, although anyone could love it.

Graphics/Use
Everything in the game has 3-D graphics, including the environment, leash, dog, and everything else. This game has pretty good graphics for a DS game, and uses the Microphone and Touch screen at its best.
Sound
The sound is pretty good, although many sounds consist of your dog whimpering barking, sirens of a firetruck, and a few others throughout the game, and does good as a surround sound kind of thing.
Personal Opinion
I really like this game, its one of the best, and is good to play for long periods of time without getting that bored of it because there is always something new to get when you take your dog on a walk (every 30 minutes) and you can go to the Park with other dogs, or by yourself, or just go to the discount shop, or agility training arena.
Fun
This game is one of the best free for all ages game i have ever played. This game can entertain anyone if they give it a try.
Pros
The touch and microphone was use at its fullest, had good sound, good game play, and graphics
Cons
Not that many but a few are you can only walk your dog each 30 minutes, can only own 3 at a time in your own house, when you have 3 dogs or 2, it uses 3 or 2 of your food/water (1 pack/bottle for each dog, wastes a lot of money)
Score
for me its a 10 because of all above mentioned. Download this game and try it out for the R4 or just plain old buy it out at your nearest Best buy, because this game just rocks.
