You are flying in your ship in space, and all of a sudden 4 ships POP OUT FROM THE SIDE!! What do you do? Blast them of course. This sounds like an old Atari shoot 'em up game right? This does sound like an old school vertical scrolling shooting game such as Galaga, but what this game has is AMAZING graphics, interactive game play, and good music to boot. Nanostray puts you inside a ship flying through space, and your mission? Shoot everything that moves. You are put through 8 levels of enemies and you must defeat them allwith your 4 choices of weapons, and your all powerful "smart bombs." However, this game is not without some flaws. The weapon selection is very annoying, you must use the touch screen to change weapons which is hard when swarms of enemies are flying towards you and your busy pushing buttons. The 8 levels are very repetitive, there's not that mush variation in each planet your fighting on. Once you get the hang of the the game you'll blow through the 8 levels very fast. The 3 game options (Adventure, Arcade, Challenge) are all alike. And the game has no storyline whatsoever. Theres no reason, sentence, or even a word to tell why you are killing everything you see.

My Opinion: The 3D graphics are VERY nicely done and there's some enjoyable music to listen to, but thats about all the game has. The game starts out fun, but after you beat the 8 levels, you won't want to play anymore.
